In what can only be described as one of the easiest drug busts in Australian history, 26-year-old drug mule Simon Tu crashed a van filled with $140 million worth of meth into a cop car just outside of a Sydney police station. As CNN reports, the mule crashed the van into a parked police vehicle on Tuesday, and less than an hour later he was tracked down. When authorities searched the back of the van, they discovered 600 pounds of methamphetamine.

He has since been charged with large commercial drug supply, not giving his details to the police, and negligent driving. The van is also getting the forensic examination treatment. Detective Glyn Baker gave a press conference regarding the arrest, and said, "This would be one of the easiest drug busts the New South Wales police have ever made."

He added, "Crashing the police vehicles with that amount of drugs on board is somewhat unheard of, and it is an exceptional set of circumstances."

The arrest follows the largest seizure of methamphetamine in Australia's history just last month. Authorities seized 1.6 tons of drugs that were hidden in a shipment from Thailand, with an estimated worth of around $837 million. The shipment also included 37 kilograms of heroin stashed within vacuumed-sealed packages inside of some stereo speakers.
