The internet will always find a way to make a meme out of anything (or to put a crying Jordan face on everything). We already told you which episode of SpongeBob SquarePants the Mr. Krabs meme that’s going around is from. Now the internet’s birthed a new meme, this is the story behind that meme. It’s what happened after a black girl from Oklahoma named Aleeyah punched yet another white girl who thought it was okay to use the N-word. It's not too soon to say Aleeyah’s become a new chapter of Black Twitter History.
A video of the fight between Aleeyah and the unidentified white girl posted by Aleeyah quickly went viral with over 36,000 retweets and counting. The video above is not that video, but a longer one that reveals more about the fight and when the white girl first drops the N-word.
As NTRSCTN reports after posting the video Aleeyah provided background info about the fight. In some tweets Aleeyah said the unidentified white girl threatened her prior to the fight. "We pulled up at her house after she said she was gonna blow my head off," tweeted Aleeyah, saying she wanted to find out if she would.
Aleeyah appears barefoot in the video (taking her shoes off in the car before confronting the girl) and is caught mid argument from when the video starts. "Who in the fuck are you calling a n****?" asks Aleeyah. The unidentified white girl responds, "Don't touch me." Wrong answer! Aleeyah Gives her a second chance to reevaluate her life and asks her again. This time she says, "You." So Aleeyah hits her with a right hook, knocking her off her feet before punching her while on the ground.
According to Aleeyah this wasn't a race problem, but she wasn't about to let the racism slide.
Aleeyah's obliterating punch became a meme including a spin on the Mr. Krabs meme and a reaction meme to Donald Trump's America. Check out the memes below.
And if you're wondering what happened to Aleeyah's opponent, here's a graphic photo.
