Earlier this month, The Weeknd nabbed two Grammys at this year's award show. But the singer, who's had a colossal year, could win some more hardware at the 2016 Oscars this Sunday, where he's nominated in the Best Original Song category for "Earned It" from the Fifty Shades of Grey film. It's a big night for him, which means he definitely has to stunt.
The Weeknd, who was one of the most stylish celebrities of 2015, isn't typically one to wear suits at award shows or events. In fact, he's more likely to stick to his uniform of all black or jeans, a tee/sweater, and some sort of outerwear—not too far off from the clothes he and Alexander Wang created together. But don't get it twisted: The Weeknd dresses to the nines when he has to. At the 2016 Republic Records Awards after party, he wore a Sandro suit and again At the Oscars luncheon. The Oscars, in addition to the Golden Globes, is the place to wear a suit or a tux. We have no idea what The Weeknd will end up wearing, but here are a couple suggestions.
