An Atlanta-based college student went on one hell of a shopping spree and spent her entire $90k college fund on clothes and a trip to Europe, according to The Independent

The college student, Kim, was left the exorbitant sum by her grandparents who intended for it to be used on a college education. Instead, she used the money to buy a trip to Europe where she proceeded to blow the whole fund on shoes and expensive clothes. Kim called into a radio show seeking advice because the $20,000 bill for her senior year just came through and she can't pay it.

Kim believes the trip to Europe was "educational," she told the radio station, according to The Independent. "That’s how I try to justify that." The radio hosts then advised Kim to ask her parents for the money and promise to pay it back. When her parents refused and instead told her to get a part-time job she replied, "That's embarrassing." And it gets much worse when she places the blame on her parents: "Maybe they should have taught me how to budget a little more carefully or something."

Wow. Hopefully she at least picked up some killer clothes, but we doubt it.
