Following the critical success of its short film The Worst Idea Ever, Man, Copenhagen-based street lifestyle magazine Bitchslap has produced a video based on the inspirational story of Danish photographer Kenneth Nguyen. Titled Finding Focus, the short film covers Nguyen's turbulent early years and eventual rise as a prolific photographer who's shot everything from hair products to the riots in Rio de Janeiro.

The son of Vietnamese refugees, Nguyen grew up utterly uninterested in school and frustrated by the lack of clarity and direction in his life. At one point, after becoming too broke to travel, he picked up a camera and decided to explore his hometown of Copenhagen more intimately, climbing the city's rooftops and venturing into abandoned buildings. He began snapping pictures as a way to document his explorations, and, in the process, discovered his profound passion for photography.

Since then, Nguyen has been riding the wave of success, landing everything from a deal with Nokia to a stint with clothing label RAINS. His success can no doubt be attributed to his vibrant, dynamic style, with which he captures the raw energy of his surroundings. Check out the video of his life story above.

Finding Focus is presented by Ford Denmark and produced in collaboration with Bitchslap and House of Radon.
