What Replaced It: Casual, Square-End Neckties
Remember when "neo-prep" was enjoying a resurgence? Dudes went on tweed rides, wore seersucker in the summer, and learned how to tie real, actual bowties. Then they realized how silly they looked with a short-sleeve buttondown or pretty much anything that isn't a tuxedo. Don't worry, when you're a senior citizen, you can rock the shit out of them again without looking like a tool. For now, just let the neckwear hang for a while and opt for the tie-less look. It's what all the cool dudes are doing, apparently.
