Video: The Making of Leather in Red Wing's Tannery

Last year for our "Cut & Show" series, we went behind the scenes of Red Wing's factory to show you how the brand makes their quality footwear. We found another video presented by Red Wing Shoe Co. that gives us a look inside their subsidiary S.B. Foot Tannery in Minnesota. Opened in 1872, the factory started off as a specialty tannery for leather and later evolved into a tannery dedicated to footwear leathers. The tannery is now one of the last of its kind, making shoes the same way for over 100 years. You can see the quality control applied by the company and the pride the workers have making boots in their community.
