Ben Simmons is having quite a rookie year. He is averaging 16.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game, and many believed he deserved a spot in the All-Star Game. Simmons is jockeying with Utah's Donovan Mitchell for Rookie of the Year, and at this point, the 76ers' swingman looks like the favorite.
Monday afternoon, hip-hop singer Tinashe posted a seductive photo with the caption, "Where's bae?"

With ice water in his veins, Simmons stepped up to the line—or, into the IG comments—and responded with a matter-of-fact, "Charlotte." The 76ers play the Hornets in Charlotte Tuesday night. Tinashe seemed pleased with the comment.

Simmons is 21 and Tinashe is 25. The actress/singer is perhaps best known for her debut single, "2 On," which reached No. 24 on the Billboard charts.
What are the odds Joel Embiid, who knows a thing or two about hollering at a celebrity crush on Twitter, had something to do with this? Simmons has developed into one of the NBA's best social media presences, though he hasn't reached the rarified territory of Embiid and Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma.
The 76ers last week pulled off an impressive win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. They currently hold the No. 6 seed in the East, while Cleveland holds a slight lead over Indiana on No. 3. If the season were to end today, the Cavs and Sixers would square off in the first round.
