With just about one week remaining until Lonzo Ball tips off his first training camp with the Lakers, the NBA rookie stopped by The Late Late Show on Monday to talk with James Corden about everything from Jay Z buying a few pairs of his Big Baller Brand sneakers to the wacky training tactics his father LaVar used to employ when he was a kid.

But at one point during his sit-down interview with Corden, Lonzo touched on a much more important topic than either of those things: His autograph. Despite the fact that heโ€™s already one of the most famous players in the entire NBA, Lonzo is still perfecting the art of signing his name for fans. It sounds like heโ€™s experimenting with how heโ€™s going to go about scribbling his name when people approach him for his autograph.

"It needs a little help," he admitted.

So Corden decided to provide Lonzo with the help he needs by asking him to sign his name on several basketballs during the show. Lonzo obliged, and before long, Corden had not one, not two, but three signed basketballs that he planned on keeping forever putting on eBay immediately.

"Thank you, Lonzo,"ย Corden said. "I appreciate your help very, very much."

Outside of appearing on the show, Lonzo also put in some work at the Lakersโ€™ training facility on Monday night and, of course, he made headlines for doing that, too. First, he popped up in the weight room wearing a shirt that had his face worked into the NBA logo.

Later, he also pulled off an impressive dunk before celebrating it with a not-so-impressive dance.
