Unlike most of her matches in the past, Ronda Rousey hasn’t done much press for her comeback fight against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, which is scheduled to take place on December 30 in Las Vegas. But on Wednesday, the former UFC women’s welterweight champion did stop by Conan to talk with Conan O’Brien about a variety of really random things.

First up was Rousey’s plan for the apocalypse. After Rousey revealed that she’s picked up knitting as a hobby as part of her "apocalypse plan," Conan pressed her on it, and she spoke openly about how she’s saving up money from fighting to buy a plot of land where she can prepare for what she believes to be the inevitable. That’s right—Ronda Rousey is a doomsday prepper.

"I saw 28 Days Later when I was a kid and I started to have zombie nightmares, and then like, I started to read up about global warming and the fresh water crisis," she said. "And you always think like, 'What would I do in that situation?'…I just want to be able to have, like, some chickens and animals and have a self-sustaining property…Right now, I’m beating people up so I can get the compound. Excavators are expensive. I got to, like, work first and then I’m going to get the chickens and the buffalo…I think it’s a good investment."

Conan also asked Rousey—who has been a well-documented Pokémon fanatic for the better part of two decades now—about her love for video games, and after describing herself as "a socially awkward kid" who turned to gaming for comfort, Rousey talked about how she bonded with Vin Diesel over World of Warcraft while the two were filming Furious 7 back in 2014. The two became fast friends thanks to the game.

"His sister found out that I play World of Warcraft," she said, "and so, like, every night after filming, we would go over to his place and set up computers on other sides of the room and be like, 'Okay, we’re going to this dungeon. We’re going to go do this.'"

To which Conan responded: "That’s what Vin Diesel does in his off time, too?!"

Rousey continued by discussing how she enjoys playing games with people online who have no idea that it’s her playing alongside them. "I just like talking to people online that have no clue who I am and just, you know, being able to have genuine interactions with people and they’re nice just because," she said. "I like it."

And of course, the subject of Rousey’s fight with Nunes came up as well, and not surprisingly, Rousey said she’s preparing to beat the current women’s welterweight champion and redeem herself in the Octagon. She shot down Nunes’ prediction that she will win the fight in the first round. "She kind of has to say that because everyone knows she gasses out in the second," she said. "So she has to tell herself that. 'It’s gonna happen in the first round.' What else is she going to tell herself? You gotta sleep at night somehow."

As we mentioned, Rousey and Nunes will settle things at UFC 207 on December 30. Rousey has stayed pretty silent in the weeks leading up to the fight, but now that it’s just a few weeks away, you can probably expect to start seeing her pop up in different places in the coming days.
