adidas Just Unveiled an ACE 17+ PURECONTROL Boot Inspired by the Legendary Predator

LEGENDARY.

adidas just dropped one of the hottest football boots of 2016.

The adidas ACE 17+ PURECONTROL is loaded with new technology that makes it one of the most advanced performance products on the market right now, but it's the obvious influence of another iconic adidas product that's grabbing all the headlines.

After discontinuing the legendary Predator boot in 2015, football fans have wondered when we'll again see the three stripes sitting proudly on a boot with a black and red colourway, made famous by the adidas Predator in the 1990s. With the ACE 17+, we've finally got it.

The ACE 17+ is the first boot to feature BOOST technology.

The new release, whose colourway is officially titled 'Red Limit', sees the introduction of adidas Running’s BOOST technology. The BOOST cushioning is made up of thousands of unique foam balls and features along the boot’s SPRINTFRAME and sock liner. The end result returns more energy than conventional midsoles and delivers unrivalled levels of comfort.

Furthermore, the Red Limit ACE 17+ PURECONTROL features a 360 degree fully PRIMEKNIT upper to ensure zero wear-in time and is protected by an ultrathin NSG (Non Stop Grip) film to provide ultimate levels of grip. The laceless PURECUT sock system is designed to eliminate overlays between the foot and the ball for ultimate control whilst the unique sock construction, which is formed of an internal lock-down system, offers premium comfort.

These are going to fly off the shelf. The boot will be seen on-pitch for the first time on November 25th.
