Remember that story of Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer suffering a lacerated pinkie finger, which required stitches, while repairing his drone? The injury resulted in Bauer getting his start in the ALCS pushed back to Game 3. Fast forward to Game 3, and Bauer didn't last long once his finger started bleeding all over the place.

Bauer tried his best to play through the blood, but after just 21 pitches, he was pulled in the first inning.

Bauer's finger literally turned into a faucet just constantly dripping blood.

Since MLB rules dictate that pitchers cannot have anything foreign on their hands, Bauer was forced to play tonight's game without any bandage on his finger. Once the blood really started to pour, Toronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbons brought it to the attention of the umpires, who determined that Bauer couldn't continue pitching. While it may still be too early to speculate, one can't help but wonder if this injury will keep him out for the rest of the ALCS.

If the Indians advance to the World Series, Bauer's injury could be a huge blow to Cleveland's already depleted starting pitching rotation. But first things first, the Tribe need to finish off the Blue Jays.
