Johnny Manzielmade headlines again this past weekend for something totally unrelated to football. According to multiple reports, he was involved in an “altercation” with his girlfriend Colleen Crowley that ended with police actively trying to track him down to make sure he wasn’t in any danger.

At some point, the Browns are going to say, “Enough in enough.” And it sounds like that point might be coming soon. A short time ago, Browns EVP of Football Operations Sashi Brown released a statement about Manziel, and…well, it doesn’t sound good for him:

ESPN is already reporting that the Browns are going to release Manziel next month:

The Browns could release Manziel as early as next week after the Super Bowl, but because of salary cap restrictions, they will likely be forced to keep him until March 9 when the new NFL year starts. At that time, they can release him if they want to. Think he can stay out of trouble until then?
