By now, the Jarryd Hayne story is something we're all familiar with. We've been force-fed nothing but Hayne Plane food for weeks, and Australians are well versed in the fascinating story of the two-time Dally M award winner's determination, faith, confidence and hard work.

Coming into NFL Week 2, Hayne and the San Francisco 49ers will hit the road, jetting out to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in an inter-conference matchup on Monday morning Australian time. The crazy story here is that lining up for the Steelers is Jordan Berry, an Australian punter who not unlike Hayne, has had to put in ridiculous work to achieve his unlikely goal of playing in the NFL.

After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Berry found himself back in Australia without an offer from any NFL team. Back in Melbourne, Berry flipped burgers at McDonald's, saving his paper until he earned another shot in the US.

"It's a long hard slog," Berry told the Sydney Morning Herald. "Most guys don't make it on their first year or sometimes second year out of college. It's something you've got to really want to do and you just have to really focus on it."

Now with a spot on the Steeler's roster, Berry will ironically go head-to-head with Hayne on play after play, as the Hayne Plane attempts to return Berry's soaring punts. The question for locals is, will you be #TeamJarryd or #TeamJordan?
