Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer stole a page out of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino's playbook during the Buckeyes' magical run to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

Back in 2013, Pitino promised his Cardinals players that he would get a tattoo if they won the NCAA Tournament. They did it—and Pitino made good on his promise. And now, it seems Meyer made the same exact promise to his Ohio State players, which means he's going to have to get a tattoo sometime in the near future following Ohio State's win over Oregon in the CFP National Championship Game last night.

"He promised us after we beat [Alabama] in the locker room that if we won the next one, he'd get a tattoo," tight end Jeff Heuerman said last night. "I'll supervise it. Trust me. I'm going to be right next to him. The first thing that went through my head is, 'Coach Meyer's getting a tattoo.'"

Meyer didn't reveal what kind of tattoo he's going to get or where he's going to get it on his body. But his players have already promised to make sure that he goes through with it.

"I'll be here bugging him about it until he gets it," defensive end Joey Bosa said. "I'll go with him [to get it]."

Stay tuned to see how long it takes Meyer to take himself to the tattoo parlor and what he ultimately ends up getting tattooed.
