Bad relationships between players and coaches often don't last long. Either a player will get traded (like last year when Kevin McHale had Omer Asik ride the pine), or the coach will get fired (i.e. Stan Van Gundy's exit when his relationship with Dwight Howard famously blew up). However, sometimes a coach is stuck with the players he's been dealt and both sides have to veil their disgust through carefully worded press conferences and testy moments on the bench. These contentious relationships almost never end well. It's why so many of the pairs on this list are only in their first or second year together. Something's going to go bad soon, maybe not Latrell-Sprewell-choking-P.J.-Carlesimo-bad, but probably closer to what happened to Paul Westphal after he tried to force DeMarcus Cousins out.
