Twitter is more of a conduit for criticism than praise. My source? Two minutes of surfing the website. So when you're trending, it's usually not good. The first pitch of the 2014 MLB All Star Game is still yet to be thrown, and social media is already knocking play-by-play mainstay Joe Buck. Here's a very brief sampling, though it's kind of hard to keep up with 100+ tweets a minute:

The All-Star game is going to be painful to watch because Joe Buck is going to constantly blow Jeter aka Captain Overrated.

Joining pretty much every "10" in New York.

Remember when Joe Buck plagiarized his dad's "Tomorrow night" call rofl

More of a Chris Berman slam, but it works.

Made it to July 15th this year without having to hear the awful Joe Buck, life was good
All Star game hasnt started and i already cant stand Joe Buck
So. Is everybody ready for the Jeter lovefest? I think Joe Buck got his supply of dental dams ready. #ASG
When he announced Jeter's name... Joe Buck came

We're guessing this trend will continue throughout the night.
