The year the annual NYPD-FDNY hockey game at Nassau Coliseum makes the headlines would be the one where New York's finest decide to get into a full-team brawl.

Jaded New Yorkers saw one of their fantasies come true when the city's fire department tried to beat up the police in the rink. The game was tied at three at the second period when the egos physically clashed.

Perhaps the best part of the scene isn't how the crowd starts chanting "PD sucks." Rather, it's how the opposing goalies decide to travel to the center of the ice and look at the ensuing chaos like this is completely acceptable behavior.

The game continued after the fight and the police won, 8-5. Could you imagine the wind being knocked out of the crowd because of the result?
