Dennis Rodman is back in the United States after taking a trip to North Korea last week to meet with Kim Jong-un. And, upon his arrival back in America, he made an appearance on ABC's This Show over the weekend to talk about why he made the journey and the message that he received from the Supreme Leader of North Korea.
"He asked me to...do one thing," he revealed. "He wants Obama to do one thing, call him."
But, it sounds like that call is probably not coming anytime soon. Earlier today, White House press secretary Jay Carney gave a statement on behalf of the President denouncing Rodman's trip to North Korea.
"Instead of spending money on celebrity sporting events to entertain the elites of that country," Carney said, "the North Korean regime should focus on the well-being of its own people, who have been starved, imprisoned, and denied their human rights."
So, there ya go. Believe it or not, The Worm did not heal the fractured U.S./North Korea relationship. Go figure.
