The strange story about former NBA star Dennis Rodman flying to North Korea to meet with Kim Jong-un just keeps getting stranger. Yesterday, we tried to make sense of their meeting by showing you this crazy photo of the Supreme Leader of North Korea rocking a Rodman jersey back in the 1990s. And, now comes the news that Rodman and Kim actually met earlier today at an exhibition basketball game featuring several members of the Harlem Globetrotters—and that Rodman had a surprising message for Kim after the game ended.

"You have a friend for life," Rodman reportedly told Kim.

Uh, what?! And, that's not all. According to VICE founder Shane Smith, who accompanied Rodman on the trip in order to film his time in North Korea for an HBO documentary, Kim told Rodman that he hoped their meeting would help improve relations between North Korea and the U.S. They also seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time together.

"They bonded during the game," Smith said. "They were both enjoying the crazy shots, and the Harlem Globetrotters were putting on quite a show."

Oh, and as if all of that wasn't weird enough, the game that they watched ended in a 110-110 tie. A TIE!

Grab the kids and head down into your Doomsday shelter. This whole Rodman-to-North-Korea thing has to be a sign of the apocalypse, right?
