On Thursday, Danny Ainge went on WEEI’s “Salk & Holley” show and said it was embarrassing that LeBron James would complain about calls following Miami's loss to the Bulls earlier this week. Well, that statement didn't sit well with Heat president Pat Riley who put Ainge back in his place. Through a team spokesman, Riley said, “Danny Ainge needs to shut the f*** up and manage his own team. He was the biggest whiner going when he was playing and I know that because I coached against him.”

Man, when we heard that, we couldn't wait to hear Ainge's response. Ready for it?

“I would say we’re both right,” he said. “LeBron should quit complaining; I complained as a player and I should manage my own team. We’re both right.

“Pat Riley’s right. I should manage my own team. I complained a lot to the officials. And I’m right, LeBron should be embarrassed about how he complains about the calls he gets.”

What? That's it, Ainge? You're just going to take that? Well, OK. Riley won.
