The Knicks Are Now Recording Every Conversation That Carmelo Anthony Has on the Court During Home Games

Fair or foul?

Knicks owner James Dolan didn't like what happened between Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett last week after the two got involved in some heavy trash talking during a Knicks/Celtics game. So, he's reportedly taken a pretty drastic step to ensure that it doesn't happen again. According to the New York Post, Dolan has hired two audio technicians to sit courtside during every home game at Madison Square Garden from now on in order to use high-tech microphones to pick up every single conversation that 'Melo has on the court. This way, if 'Melo ever gets involved in another incident that stems from trash talking, Dolan will know exactly what set 'Melo off.

Of course, fellow NBA executives don't like Dolan's decision to monitor what gets said on the court. They think that it could become controversial if one of the technicians decides to pick up sound from a visiting team's bench. And, others have also questioned whether or not 'Melo has cosigned the decision to record his conversations. But, we love it the idea. Because, you just know that the next time KG plays at the Garden he's going to spend the entire game talking shit to the guy who gets hired to eavesdrop on him, right? And, we can't wait until those clips leak to TMZ. This is going to be fun.
