Boston's Concepts is continuing its hot streak of collabs this weekend with a premium twist on one of Vans' most successful silhouettes. After last year's Vans Old Skool and February's purple-dipped Timberlands, the boutique now comes full circle with a purple Sk8-Hi.
Using the classic high top as their template, the Concepts x Vans Sk8-Hi is dipped in a purple upper that is accented by the model's usual white branding stripe. The Sk8-Hi's usual contrast stitching has been swapped for tonal purple, but the biggest difference here is the material used on the side paneling, where a croc-embossed pattern adds a premium feel to these skate staples. Another notable twist is the addition of a removable shroud that covers the laces, allowing 'heads to rock these in a number of different ways.
Look out for the Concepts x Vans Sk8-Hi Syndicate to touch down this Saturday, March 28 only at Concepts Cambridge, followed by limited online release at 12 p.m.
