While the standout of the year so far has been the Air Jordan VI retro, let's not forget all the love Jordan Brand will be showing the XIV in the coming months. It's already been established that the "Thunder" and "Sport Blue" pairs are in the pipeline, and now, it looks like a third colorway will be in the mix.
Returning in original form is the "Black Toe" XIV. This exact colorway debuted back in 1998 and was later retroed in 2006 with ribbed leather paneling. Based on the early images that have just surfaced, it looks like the "Black Toes" will be returning with a smooth tumbled leather. This white leather makeup is paired with Jordan Brand's signature black and red color scheme, including a black nubuck toe.
No official word on a release date just yet, but it's been over 15 years since we last saw this exact treatment, so expect 'heads to be all over this one.
