After much speculation, the Nike Air Command Force will in fact see its first-ever re-release this year. Originally released in 1990, the Command Force has been unofficially recognized as David Robinson's signature sneaker as he laced up a pair in several campaigns for Nike's "Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood." What really transcended this high-top sneaker, though, was its appearance on the big screen as Billy Hoyle rocked these on the blacktop in White Men Can’t Jump.

Here, we get an early look early at two upcoming colorways that we should expect this year. The first is an all new colorway that appear to be "South Beach"-inspired and features a black upper with pink and teal accents. The other pair is the O.G. "Hot Lime" colorway that sports a white leather upper with hot lime accents on the tongue and midsole.

While this classic sneaker's return is certainly cause for celebration, some O.G. heads may not be too thrilled that these 2014 pairs will not be equipped with its signature air chamber and pump. An exact release date is not yet clear, but the anticipation should give you enough time to decide if you'll be copping these classics even without its original tech.
