The very short distance between the campuses of Duke University and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is known as Tobacco Road. The college basketball rivalry between these two fine institutions is easily regarded as one of sports' most intense match-ups, year after year. With that being said, FILA is poised to present the Tobacco Road Pack, which is a nod to former Blue Devil Grant Hill as well as former Tar Heel Jerry Stackhouse. Upon making their way into the NBA, each baller signed with the FILA brand, as Grant of course went on to make the 96 silhouette famous and Jerry, the Spaghetti. Again, to pay homage, next month FILA will be dropping off the duo in appropriated college shading. The 96 features Duke Blue Devil blue, while the Spaghetti notes a white and Carolina Blue combo. Whether you are a fan of either of these schools or not, you can't really deny the history here. Accordingly, expect a release to take place on October 3 at select FILA carriers.
