The cast of Solo: A Star Wars Story are tapping into their corny sides.
In an IMAX featurette, the castmates tell each other dad jokes in between clips from the film. (They're pretty funny tbh.)
For the first joke, which Donald Glover tells Phoebe Waller-Bridge, he brings ewoks and homophones into the mix. "An ewok strolls into a bar and says to the bartender 'I'll have a whiskey and *pauses* soda'" reads Glover. "The bartender says 'sure thing but why the little pause?' 'Don't know,' says the ewok, 'I've had them my whole life.'" Waller lets out a laugh as she realizes the bartender meant pause, not paws. You caught it too, right?
Emilia Clarke, who luckily didn't have to translate any more of Chewbacca's lines, also got in on the fun.
Woody Harrelson got the honors for the next one. "Which website did Chewbacca get arrested for creating?" he asks Thandie Newton. "I don't know," she says. "Wookieeleaks." he quips, referencing WikiLeaks and its founder, Julian Assange, who has an arrest warrant out for them. (We wouldn't be surprised if Chewbacca and Han Solo have one out for them in a "galaxy far, far away" either.)
