Lindsay Lohan: beloved actress, frustratingly inactive pop hit-maker, master Instagrammer, and bestselling author? Yup. Lohan finally confirmed her long-rumored tell-all book is officially happening, tellingVanity Fair Thursday that she's currently hard at work penning what we can pretty safely assume will be the only book unanimously recommended by every literary critic in the world.

"I am in the process of writing a book, and I am very excited to share my personal experiences in life and how to overcome obstacles," said Lohan, who turns 30 next month. "I hope that my words will connect with those who need some guidance when [or] if they are in a tough place. I am grateful that I have a voice, which I can now feel comfortable using as a platform to let people know that we all have ups and downs in life, and we can all come up from the downs if we get in touch with our inner self and spiritual side."

But if you're hoping for some clickable bits about Lohan having any regrets about her storied Hollywood history, look elsewhere. Lohan is embracing her past, present, and future like any rising author should. "I wouldn't call things regrets, per se," Lohan said. "I can't turn back time. But if I could, I would have listened more to my mother and gone back home to N.Y.C. earlier in life and chosen my friends more wisely."

Lohan also hopes to fill the next decade of her life with as much creativity as possible, including that oft-ignored medium known as movies. "Making more films, writing my book, starting my charity, working with children a lot," Lohan said, listing her 10-year goals. "Maybe having some of my own soon—after I get some movies done first."

Though Lohan strategically fails to mention it in this fresh Vanity Fair interview, Lohan promised earlier this month that the long-awaited follow-up to her supremely underrated pop gem A Little More Personal (Raw) is also on the way eventually. "I love making music and I write every day," Lohan said during a recent live chat with Mean Girls co-star Rajiv Surendra.
