Star Wars: The Force Awakens star John Boyega was pretty much the MVP of last night's BAFTAs. He picked up the Rising Star Award—an award for new talent that has previously been won by the likes of Noel Clark, Adam Deacon, and Tom Hardy. While he not quite a "new" talent to us—we've been fans since Attack The Block—the award was definitely deserved.
Even apart from winning, though, Boyega pretty much killed it at the ceremony.
He said that if he won, he'd do a special secret dance.
Got props on his style.
Gave an inspirational speech.
Made a new friend.
Then told everyone he had to be up at 6am to start shooting the new 'Star Wars' film.
