Authorities say an officer with the California Highway Patrol stole nude photos from a woman after stopping her for suspicion of driving under the influence.

After observing surveillance footage of the Martinez, Calif. jail where the unidentified 23-year-old woman was taken, police determined that 35-year-old Sean Harrington took the woman's cell phone and forwarded the images to his. This occurred after Harrington pulled the woman over for driving erratically during the early hours of Aug. 29.

She was arrested after registering a .29 on a blood-alcohol test, and told investigators that she gave Harrington the password to her phone when he asked. She eventually discovered that Harrington had sent the images to his own phone because her phone is synched to her iPad.

Harrington has since been relegated to desk duty and the woman's DUI charge was tossed out as a result of Harrington's actions. In addition, the woman's attorney told the Contra Costa Times that other officers may be involved in the incident as well.
