Like its biblical brethren, Noah, Darren Aronofsky's 2014 retelling of the biblical story, Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings promises a tantalizing new take on the biblical epic.

Scott's film will follow how Moses lead the Israelite slaves out of Egypt. Christian Bale, who will be playing Moses said this about his character:

“He’s one of the most fascinating characters that I’ve ever studied. I think Achilles is described as the most passionate man alive but I think Moses would give him a very good run for his money.”

The action packed film, which will be released December 12th, will also star Aaron Paul as Joshua, and Sigourney Weaver as Tuya. The cast also includes: Ben Kingsley, John Turturro, and Indira Varma.
