Well, after two months and a lot of dead bodies, the second half of The Walking Dead's fourth season wrapped up last night. And, depending on your taste, you either loved it or threw a folding chair through your television. The episode, titled “A,” focused again on Rick, Carl, and Michonne after their lengthy absence. They were quickly ambushed by Jo and his "Claimers" crew, all except Daryl, who, for trying to save Rick from execution, received a serious beatdown. With a gun to his face, though, Rick eliminated Joe by taking a walker-sized chomp out of his throat, leading Michonne, Carl, and Daryl to then free themselves.

After the bloody showdown was over, the group wound up at the mysterious Terminus sanctuary, hailed as a safe haven for survivors. While Rick, Carl, Michonne, and Daryl were shown around the compound, Rick noticed one of the Terminus guards wearing a familiar watch, once owned by Hershel. Then he noticed others in the camp wearing items that belonged to members of his group, including Glenn's riot gear.

Realizing that Terminus was an ambush, Rick and his crew attempted to flee but, after dodging endless gunfire in a marathon sprint throughout the corridors of Terminus, they were cornered by guards and forced into a train car. In there, they found Glenn, Maggie, and the rest of their old group (minus Tyreese and Carol). The season then closed out with a pretty pissed-off Rick looking at his group and muttering, “They’re screwing with the wrong people.”

And that’s it. After no shocking deaths or unpredictable plot twists, “A” was simply meant to get fans pumped for next season. Whether you’re satisfied with that or not doesn’t discount the fact that some big things happened last night, and we’re here to celebrate it all with some awards from last night’s season finale of The Walking Dead:

Most Flagrant Abuse of Seinfeld’s Good Samaritan Law: Rick and Carl standing by as this poor fool gets ripped apart by walkers.
