Google and Yahoo! are companies that are very similar, but are headed in different directions, and 2013 was a year that proved it. While we continue to associate both companies as our go-to places for search results (sorry Bing users), Yahoo! made bold moves last year that showed how serious they are about capturing a young Internet audience that's interested in news and content, presented in the Yahoo! style. Google, on the other hand, further established itself as a hardware maker, overseeing the release of the Moto X, hyping up Google Glass, and teasing self-driving cars. Years from now, or even sooner, these companies will continue to look different from each other—and will continually evolve from today—further leaving behind what first made them famous. Here we present, Yahoo vs. Google By the Numbers.
