While we're all eagerly awaiting the next round of bone-cracking lighting-fists of Batman: Arkham Origins’ console version to be released there is a mobile, free-to-play version out for iOS now for all your kicking and punching needs.

While it certainly isn't the same as the console experience, the iOS version of Origins, created by Netherrealm Studios, is still pretty great and fulfills the slow-motion hammer-fist Batman requirements we so desire.

Netherrealm Studios, yes the same company that created Mortal Kombat, is showing us what they know about mobile ass-kickin'. It also created the mobile version of Injustice: Gods Among Us and this Origins version looks like a pretty good representation of that skill.

The mobile game centers on beating the crap out of baddies to get Batman some new digs. It can get a bit repetitive but what's bad about beating up bad guys? Absolutely nothing.

Batman: Arkham Origins mobile is out now for iOS and Origins begins dropping on October 25 for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
