Kevin Clash Now Faces A Third Underage Sex Charge

This is getting ridiculous.

None

Just a week after Elmo voice actor Kevin Clash resigned from his Sesame Street gig when a second underage sex allegation surfaced, he has now been hit with a third one, according to The New York Daily News. The accuser is simply going by the name “John Doe” at the time and is suing Clash for having "sexual activity" with him in 2000 when he was just 16. “Doe” is now 29, and is being represented by attorney Jeff Herman in Manhattan Federal Court.

A spokeswoman for the disgraced puppeteer said “Mr. Clash believes this lawsuit has no merit.” Clash himself has not commented on anything as of yet. This is now the third allegation against Clash in less than a month, even though the first accuser recanted his story shortly after going public.

Herman said that “Doe” met Clash on a gay chat line, and that Clash claimed he was only 30 at the time. This is similar to the story that the second accuser, Cecil Singleton, told about also meeting Clash in a gay chat line. We’ll have more information on this story as it becomes available.
