EA confirmed this week thatBattlefield 4 is coming (likely in late 2013), with a multiplayer beta preceding the full game during roughly the same time frame.

But some fans have complained that they'd rather see the next Battlefield: Bad Company game, Bad Company 3, before another entry in the main Battlefield series.

EA's community manager Ian Tornay has addressed those complaints in a post on reddit, explaining the reasoning behind continuing with the main Battlefield series.

"I can tell you that it's not due to any lack of love for BC inside of [Battlefield developers] DICE. Everyone I've talked to there is very proud and fond of it," he wrote.

"What features from BC would you like to see in future games (which is not to say we won't make another)?" he asked. "Would be very interested to nail down for myself what it is about BC that is special to everyone and how we can incorporate that magic."

So what is it you love about the Bad Company series? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
