Gunna Shares Snippet of Future & Young Thug Collab From ‘Drip Season 4’

Gunna shared a snippet of a new song featuring Young Thug and Future off his next album, 'DS4,' which is expected to be released some time next year.

Gunna is preparing to start his 2022 with the release of his third studio album, Drip Season 4, also known as DS4. Ahead of its release, the rapper teased a new track featuring Young Thug and Future on his Instagram.

“Come On #DS4,” he captioned the video.

The Atlanta trio have natural chemistry, and the smooth snippet that Gunna shared demonstrates how easy they make songs sound together. While Future and Thug aren’t in the video footage the “Drip Too Hard” rapper dropped, their verses and adlibs can be heard.

While DS4 is expected to drop sometime in 2022, it doesn’t have an official release date just yet.

The song tease comes as footage of Gunna’s security having to body slam someone went viral on social media this week.

It’s unclear what sparked the scuffle, but the aggressor was neutralized swiftly by Gunna’s bodyguard, who flipped over the person with ease. Based on the footage, and according to HotNewHipHop, it looks like Gunna was in the jewelry store Mr. Alex Jewelers in Miami when the incident occurred, but the man who approached him seems more remorseful than aggressive.

Regardless, the footage sparked reactions in which people pointed out how the guard body slammed the random man in real WWE fashion, as well as Gunna’s interesting all-purple tracksuit fit.

Acts of violence aside, though, this new snippet of music from DS4 sounds promising. Hopefully the new album will deliver everything fans have been waiting for since he dropped his last project, Wunna.
