Before entering the rap game, Kash Doll witnessed plenty of adversity during her days as an exotic dancer. The Detroit native intends to highlight the dark side of strip club life with the Kelly Chronicles—a mini-movie series that was inspired by real-life events.

"Kelly Chronicle is a story based on things I’ve seen in the real world strip club life, although thankfully it’s not my own experience," she said in a statement. "I wanted to show girls that it’s not all glitz and glamour. Sometimes women sacrifice their peace of mind, dignity and most importantly self-worth. [...] With this mini movie series, I’m speaking on situations that come from living that lifestyle. There is a lot of peer pressure and you can easily get led in the wrong direction. I want to give these women a voice, and make sure these stories and cautionary tales are told."

Kash Doll kicked off things on Tuesday with the official video for "Hustla." The cinematic visual finds the rapper portraying the series' titular character, who is so overwhelmed with financial instability she decides to compromise her morals.
