Chicago rapper Kami has linked up with producer Smoko Ono to release the seven-track EP Very Slight.

The project features appearances by other Chicago artists like Chance the Rapper and Valee, as well as Joey Purp who assists on both "Reboot" and "Beware." Very Slight's most notable cut is certainly its lead single "Reboot," which originally dropped in late August. An official video, directed by fellow Chicagoan Cole Bennett, was recently released for the banger and has already accumulated close to 1.2 million views.

Kami's collaborator Smoko Ono is responsible for a lot of the beats coming out of Chicago in recent years. Most notably, the producer is credited with the instrumentals for Chance the Rapper's "I Might Need Security" and Vic Mensa's "U MAD" featuring Kanye West.

Very Slight acts as the follow-up to Kami's 2017 debut album Just Like the Movies. The EP is currently available on streaming platforms. Listen to it over on Apple Music or below via Spotify.
