Arguably the strongest music festival lineup of 2018 has been unveiled. This year's Outside Lands boasts fest-ready performances from the Weeknd, Future, N*E*R*D, and so many more across almost every possible genre.
For its 11th year of top-shelf curation, the Another Planet x Starr Hill x Superfly event will once again take over Golden Gate Park in San Francisco for three straight days of music starting Aug. 10. Attendees should also expect to line their stomachs with a selection of Bay Area food favorites and various libations.
ODESZA, Bon Iver, Daniel Caesar, Smokepurpp, Rex Orange County, Margo Price, CHVRCHES, Jamie xx, Mac DeMarco, Janet Jackson, and more also confirmed for this year's bill. General admission and VIP tickets will be available starting April 5 at 10 a.m. PT. See the full lineup below:
The Weeknd will be sliding into Outside Lands with a new project under his belt, the exquisitely titled My Dear Melancholy.
The six-track project breezes by at just under 21 minutes in length, offering fans what might best be described as a mix of Trilogy's intoxicating near-goth darkness and the lighter melodicism of his recent mainstream efforts. In short, it's very very good and should make for a compelling festival set.
