Two months after releasing their first album in seven years, NO_ONE EVER REALLY DIES, N*E*R*D took center stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for a halftime performance at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

Playing a medley of hits, including "Lemon," Pharrell and N*E*R*D's halftime performance was highlighted by dancer Mette Towley, who had social media buzzing with her routine. The Migos also joined for a surprise performance of their Pharrell-produced Culture II hit, "Stir Fry." You can watch the full halftime show above.

The evening was full of memorable non-sports moments, as Kevin Hart hosted lively pre-game player introductions before Fergie performed the national anthem. Each of those moments were widely mocked by fans online, but they were entertaining nonetheless. The Barenaked Ladies also joined in for the Canadian national anthem before tip-off.

N*E*R*D's halftime performance came two nights after they headlined Adidas' 747 Warehouse St party on Friday night—an event event in Los Angeles that aimed to pair music with basketball culture and exclusive sneaker drops. The lineup included artists like French Montana, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, and surprise appearances from Kanye West and Kid Cudi.

Earlier in the weekend, Jaden Smith handled halftime duties at the Rising Stars game, taking the stage to moonwalk and perform songs from his new album, SYRE. You can watch his performance below.
