What's a better Christmas gift than Chance the Rapper and Jeremih linking up for their Merry Christmas Lil Mama mixtape last year? Word came down that they were getting back into the studio to expand the project this year.

They were working in the studio on the project in November, and last week Chance tweeted that they'd be dropping this week. And on Tuesday, the project, titled Merry Christmas Lil Mama: Re-Wrapped, finally dropped.

The previous night, we got to hear the first new cut from these two, "Ms. Parker," which the duo played during a visit to Power 92.3. They indicated that both Common and Lena Waithe (two more Chi-Town natives) are on the project, and played a batch of tracks for the radio.

Merry Christmas Lil Mama: Re-Wrapped has two discs worth of holiday goodness. And off top, these songs really are dope. The Valee-featured "R U Live" feels like one of those cuts that will have your auntie turnt. "Big Kid Again" feels like Christmases gone by, and while there is a joint called "Let It Snow" on here, it doesn't feel like a cover of the Boyz II Men classic
