Grammy-nominated producer Stefan Ponce is gearing up to release his debut album, The Boy Who Fell From Earth, and he's secured a number of guests to help tell his personal narrative of love and self-discovery.
As a taste of what's to come, the Chicago representative shares "For a Girl," a stellar collaboration with UK rapper Rejjie Snow, rising singer Moxie Raia, and guitarist Julian Bell. "Rejjie was the pilot of the ship," Ponce says of how the record came together. "I had the beat in a good place but I followed his direction."
As far as what inspired the song, Ponce explains, "Every young man needs that cool song he can dedicate to his boo." Facts.
Ponce's The Boy Who Fell From Earth doesn't have a firm release date, but expect it to drop in the coming months. For now, check out "For a Girl" above and grab his recent Kyle-assisted single "Super Star" on iTunes.
