Is the album rollout even real if it's not accompanied by an extensive interview with Zane Lowe?

After finally dropping his long-awaited debut album Luv Is Rage 2, Lil Uzi Vert joined Lowe on his Beats 1 show for a classic chat about collaborating with Pharrell, his Marilyn Manson fandom, life as an extraterrestrial being, and his plans for a freestyle rock project.

Asked about his post-Luv Is Rage 2 plans, Uzi—who's apparently sitting on "like, 2700" unreleased songs—said he's planning to follow up his debut with a full-blown rock album. "I don't write, I just go in there," Uzi said, teasing that the project will likely be recorded in the same freestyle manner in which he's penned his previous projects. "It's kinda hard for it to be bad," he added, citing Paramore's Hayley Williams as a potential influence on his rock material. "I don't even be looking at my songs like they're good or bad. Remember, they're my children. So when I put 'em out, someone accepts them."

When Lowe explained how he felt that Uzi's music was free of genre constraints, Uzi agreed. "I think it's unidentified," Uzi said. "So, you know, if it's unidentified, what does that mean? I pulled up in a UFO. So I'm an alien."

Uzi also revealed that he and Pharrell "made a lot of stuff" during Luv Is Rage 2 sessions. "He's like the best person on Earth," Uzi said. "He's like the type of person that, like, somebody that has way more clout than him will still look at him like the biggest person ever. He's the GOAT."

As for a potential Manson collab, all Uzi could offer Lowe was a confident "maybe" response. "I hate him, he's annoying," Uzi joked. "[His new music is] beautiful. But, you know, we don't talk about music though. We just be, like, turnt up. But, you know, turnt up in a professional, unguided way."
