2016 cemented AJ Tracey's status as one of the front-runners in grime today; polishing up all areas of his artistry, debut EP Lil Tracey rubber-stamped this neatly, backed by a set of authentic and unrelenting efforts. Starting off this summer quietly, AJ burst into life with hypnotic football-reference anthem "False 9", a smart effort otherwise let down by clear association with Premier League sidemen, Tottenham Hotspurs.

Now, for the second half of 2017, AJ's set to drop a new EP titled Secure The Bag! on Oct. 6, as well a 15-date UK tour of the same name. To kick things off, the West London MC calls on producer Sir Spyro for the lead single "Blacked Out", punching out bars over a bouncy riddim in all-out attack mode.

Following the same immediate visual/audio release format as his prior project also serves the situation well; once again accompanied by a crisp Mornix-directed video, it's another sterling addition to a growing catalogue between the pair. Watch the visuals for "Blacked Out" up above.
