Tidal has had a bit of a mixed history when it comes to streaming and hosting live events, regardless of that however, Jay-Z's company has announced that it's set to broadcast a special joint performance by 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne on March 30th. The show is set to go down in 2 Chainz' neck of the woods at the Tabernacle in Atlanta and kicks off at 9pm. The company has already created a hashtag the event, #TIDALXCOLLEGROVE, and hopes to draw in a wide range of viewers.
Of course, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have been hitting the circuit hard these last few weeks to promote their nominal collaboration record Collegrove and this event is sure to bring a maximum level of exposure. It's also another step for Wayne further aligning himself to Tidal and farther from his old home at Cash Money as they hopefully continue to settle their own differences.
