Berner linked up with fellow marijuana aficionados Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and B-Real for the video for "Best Thang Smokin." Paying homage to Young Dro'ssophomore album of the same name, the song is an ode to the rappers' well-known love of ganja. The video layers a simple, black-and-white shot over abstract, flashing shapes and reflections, achieving a trippy visual effect. Berner leads things off, rapping "I pulled off the lot with something nice to ride in/Everyone knows who the one with the best supply is."
Wiz, a longtime Berner collaborator, holds things down on the chorus, singing "I know this might seem strange/But if you smoke we gon' get high with you/Let you roll up them planes." Snoop and B-Real lay down similar pot-admiring verses, combining forces to deliver a new-age stoner anthem. Each rapper dominates their own frame, and together they find the song's smoky sweet spot. Snoop's verse has brought up some questions though, as he may have taken some light shots at Kanye West in response to the Wiz Khalifa situation. On the track, Snoop raps, "And every chance I get to blow some KK, with my cousin Ray J, these n***as acting gay-ay."
