In January, Migos’ Y.R.N. 2 mixtape was released and contained more street anthems to blast at high volume like “Commando.” Today, the Atlanta trio release the official video directed by Joe Yung Spike, and it literally interprets their lyrics into visual form. They argue that rappers are jacking their style and their trademark “Migos flow,” so they take a few of them hostage to prove a point. There are standoffs and brief negotiations with Migos, but they aren’t listening or backing down. They also don’t exactly reveal who these so-called copycats are. Boosie Badazz makes a cameo too.
