While the beef between Drake and Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill has been the one garnering all the headlines, 50 Cent has been making it very difficult to forget that he has his own war going on with Meek at the moment. Last night at a concert with DJ Mustard in Oakland, Calif., the G-Unit boss took a fresh shot at Meek by proudly displaying an "RIP Meek Mill" t-shirt that a fan tossed up onto the stage.
This is just the latest in a prolonged battle between the two rappers that really kicked off when Meek dropped his first 4/4 EP which included the track "Gave Em Hope" that took multiple shots at 50 including this one, "I got fifty reasons say you're taking d**k / And it's fifty reasons I should kill, ni**a." As history has shown, 50 Cent is not one to back down from a battle a returned fire with a flood of Instagram posts mocking Meek.
At a recent show in New York City, it looked as though 50 was willing to put the beef behind him, dismissively telling the crowd, "From now on, no more competition with ni**as that didn’t sell over one million records,” but it just seems like he can't let this one go. And anyway, 50 fans certainly don't seem to mind the antics.
