Actor/singer Mack Wilds sat down with the crew at Hot 97's "Ebro in the Morning" to dish about starring in the video for Adele's smash single "Hello." Wilds said that he was surprised to receive the call, but ended up being very happy with the end product. He recalled sitting with his manager on the plane after the shoot speculating about how big it would be. "How much do you think it's gonna do? 10 million? You think it's gonna do 20 million?" he wondered. The monster success of the clip took even him by surprise. "You never really expect it to hit 800 some odd million, and it's still going," he said in disbelief.

He also talked about his new VH1 movie The Breaks, which premiers tonight at 9 p.m. "It brings you back to 1990, right when hip-hop was at the bubbling point of tipping over," he said. "It shows how hip-hop went from that to the people who changed it into what it is today." The movie also features Wu-Tang Clan veteran Method Man playing Wilds' dad. Depending on the ratings, the movie may be picked up into a series as well. Stay tuned to Complex for more updates on the film, and watch Wilds' entire interview above.
